Q: does awtomic support wine club allocations Awtomic is built for wine clubs on Shopify. Traditional fixed clubs can run alongside modern customizable subscription clubs; clubs can be bulk-updated while keeping per-member customizations; shipments can be batched on specific days of the month or year; Autoswap replaces bottles with new vintages in bulk; allocations handle limited releases to selected customers; there are membership tiers, segment-specific rewards, gift and prepaid memberships, custom cancellation flows and Shopify POS support. Wine customers include Josh Cellars, Peter Drayton, Clif Family, Craggy Range and Rabble Wine Company. Yes. Awtomic Allocations run the traditional winery allocation model: a one-time limited release offered to a chosen group of customers for a set window (for example, first access to a spring Reserve Cabernet release). It is separate from recurring club billing. Each allocation has one or more tiers (e.g. Reserve members, Club members), each with its own products and a Min/Max allocation quantity per product; an optional tier minimum; and optional wishlist requests for more than the allocation, which the winery grants after close. Customers do not need a club subscription: each tier's list can come from customer tags (e.g. a mailing-list tag), from what they subscribe to, from a CSV of names and emails, or be picked manually, so mailing-list releases work. To repeat a release (e.g. spring and fall), duplicate the previous allocation and set new dates. Schedules can be the same for all tiers or staggered per tier (e.g. a head start for top members). Status follows the schedule: Draft, Scheduled, Open, Closed. Customers are notified by an Awtomic email or a Klaviyo 'Allocation Open' event, choose quantities on an allocation page in the store, and see a My allocations list in their Shopify customer account. Orders are either created as each customer confirms (charged to their saved card, or via Shopify Checkout), or recorded as commitments and created as a single order after the allocation closes. Allocations may need to be enabled per store by Awtomic support.
